y a plus de saison / is that global warming yet ?

J'espèrais que l'été était arrivé... j'avais déjà sorti les petites robes et les sandales mais lundi j'ai laissé passer l'heure fatidique au boulot, celle à partir de laquelle les problèmes arrivent et effectivement, c'est arrivé, sous la forme d'une pluie de grêlons vraiment impressionnants. C'est le moment où attendre le bus en robe sous un maigre parapluie parait une recette pour finir assommer sur le trottoir !
Le temps d'arriver en ville, et le boulevard était inondé.
Bon depuis on a eu 30° et chaleur étouffante... je vous le dis, y a plus de saisons ;-p

I was hoping summer was here, my summer dresses were out but on Monday, I stayed too late at work and was still there when hail arrived. It was really impressive and waiting for the bus under a small umbrella wearing only a dress felt like the perfect recipe for being knocked down or a cold!
By the time I was back downtown, the streets were drown but the sky was clear.
Since that we have had 30° and stuffy... global warming, I tell you ;-p

Apparemment il vaut mieux ne pas se trouver à proximité de la médiathèque vers 3h du mat... parce que voilà ce qu'on découvre dans l'après midi d'un dimanche calme: une voiture espagnole qui a fait un tout droit, probablement un vol plané à partir d'un terre-plein central et fini 3 mètres plus bas, perpendiculairement à son trajet d'origine et presque dans la section enfants de la médiathèque !

So, careful where you are standing in the middle of the night because that's what you discover on a quiet Sunday afternoon when you go to the library: a Spanish car which went straight ahead, probably over the middle of the street and landed 3 meters down orthogonally to its original street and nearly in the kids section of the mediatheque !

Remplacer le chat qui empêche de dormir par un autre squatteur qui fait des gateaux au chocolat,
Visiter des endroits étranges et délabrés mais parfaits pour faire des photos,
Et finir par quelques tapas qui arrivent tout droit d'Espagne (attention la sangria tape fort).

jour férié et balade/bank holiday and road trip

Expédition hier: emmené un collègue indien découvrir la région...
direction Carcassonne et la mer ! Changé d'air un peu et bien profité du peu de soleil pour marcher les pieds nus dans le sable.

It was nice to get outside of the city for a while and I enjoyed the sun and walking barefoot in the sand.

Je trouvais bien qu'il pleuvait trop ces derniers temps. Mais c'est en passant près de la Garonne au sud du centre-ville que j'ai vu qu'il fallait vraiment que ca cesse: j'ai l'habitude de courir là où il y a un panneau ...

I knew it was raining too much lately. But it's walking on the south part of the city that I realised it really needs to stop: my long runs routes go close to that sign in the water...
