Siestes Electroniques / Electronic naps

Ce week-end c'était siestes electroniques à Toulouse.
L'occasion d'aller se poser dans l'herbe au bord de la Garonne et d'écouter de la musique.
Ambiance très cool et franchement, ca pourrait être agréable de faire ca tous les week-ends !
Par contre, il faudra vraiment que j'explore la ligne de bus 10: il semble qu'elle mène direct à Tahiti !

The occasion to sit in the grass by the Garonne and listen to some music.
Very nice, and it would be great to be able to do that every week-end!
I need to start investigating the 10 bus line: it seems to lead directly to Tahiti !

RTT/ Friday Off

L'avantage d'une ville du Sud c'est qu'il suffit de poser un jour et de profiter de la vie locale pour avoir l'impression d'être en vacances.
La prochaine fois, je vais à la piscine ;-)

Fete de la Musique

Sur les bons conseils de Petite Soeur, j'ai profité de la fête de la Musique pour aller voir Electro Deluxe en concert gratuit au Conseil General, ce qui était d'autant plus facile que c'est au coin de la rue !
Très bonne musique, super chanteurs et plein d'énergie positive. Je conseille !

The Fete de la Musique is an event that makes each and every one so inclined get out of their house on the 21st of June to either play music or listen to it.
This year, I followed another great musical tip from Little Sis' and went to see Electro Deluxe, an electro jazzy group play for free in Conseil General which is around the corner! Perfect setting.
Very good music, great singers, great band and a lot of positive vibes. I recommand!

Francaise ? C'est sûr ? / Is anyone really sure I'm French ?

J'ai régulièrement des doutes sur ma nationalité, et rien de pire pour m'en faire douter qu'un petit déj irlandais un dimanche matin. Franchement il n'y a pas grand chose de mieux que ca ;-)

On dirait que chaque fois que je pars en week-end à la campagne, la première chose que je fais en rentrant c'est de me faire couper les cheveux... étrange !

It seems that every time I spent the week-end in the middle of nowhere, the first thing I do when I come back is to get a hair cut... strange !

le jour d'après/the day after

Réveillée trop tôt, encore trop d'alcool dans le sang et déjà mal à la tête, deux avions en succesion rapide, un sprint à Orly, un réveil de sciatique, passage de la sécurité en doublant tout le monde, tout ca pour que le deuxième vol soit en retard !
Enfin, de retour à la maison, c'est calme ici.

Woke up too early, still drunk and already hang over, two planes with a very short transit, a sprint in Orly, the sciatica nerve woke up too, security check taking over every body, all that to discover that the second flight was late!
Back to home sweet home, and it's too calm in here.

Edit to add... I did not 'take over every body at the security gate', I overtook everyone ! :-p

mini week-end/ mini break

Vu que j'ai eu un coup de moins bien mardi, une copine m'a proposé sa chambre d'ami pour le week-end... et j'ai saisi l'occasion pour changer d'air.
La chambre est très jolie, le lit confortable, la compagnie parfaite pour refaire le monde (ou réanalyser mon monde).
Il y a un troll jusque à côté de l'église d'en face, une piscine dans laquelle les hommes de 3 ans se baignent tout nus, et à côté de laquelle apprécier une bière bien fraiche.
Et les couchers de soleil sont magnifiques !
La vie est belle !

Since Tuesday was not a good day a friend offered her guest room for the week-end and I jumped on the occasion and in a plane.
The room is pretty, the bed comfy, the compagny perfect to rebuild the world (or deconstruct mine).
There is a troll by the church, a pool where men jump in naked (if they are 3 y.o.) and where you can lounge by drinking a fresh beer.
And the sunsets are beautiful !
Life is good !

Un bon film, et un pad thai tranquille à la maison.
