ca m'intrigue depuis longtemps/I still can't figure it out

Cette entrée de garage est dans la rue à côté de la mienne et chaque fois que je passe devant, je me demande quel type de voiture rentre là-dedans... une Ferrari ?

That parking place is in the street next to mine and every time I walk by, I wonder what kind of car fits in there... a Ferrari ? Certainly not a Hummer ;-)

Mais c'est le garage de MINI-ME!!

J'aime beaucoup les nuances entre la version française et anglaise...

une petite nuance de temps en temps ;-)

Par contre, pas de remarque sur le fait que je poste du futur ?

Could it be for "Oui-Oui?"

magali a dit…

then, Oui-oui (what's his name in English ? Yes-yes ?) must have several flats in Toulouse as this is not the only small parking spot I saw...

Ben, j'ai des cours d'anglais à l'iufm et des fois j'écoute...
J'ai appris 2 choses cette année :
- Oui-Oui = Noddy.
- Il ne faut pas confondre witch et bitch.

Oui :
We wish you a Merry Christmas
We wish you a Merry Christmas
We wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Good tidings we bring to you and your kin
Good tidings for Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Oh, bring us a figgy pudding
Oh, bring us a figgy pudding
Oh, bring us a figgy pudding and a cup of good cheer
We won't go until we get some
We won't go until we get some
We won't go until we get some, so bring some out here

We wish you a Merry Christmas
We wish you a Merry Christmas
We wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

:-p
